The rise of fake news and misinformation has made it increasingly difficult for people to distinguish between what is real and what is not. This is reminiscent of the Pharisees of old, who were more concerned with appearances than with genuine wisdom. Moreover, this initiative can generate revenue for the government. Many Filipinos, by nature, tend to litter, and enforcing penalties could result in substantial fines. This money can be used to reduce the country's debt burden and fund development projects that benefit the community.
