Neil Arce reveals Angel Locsin's latest update: 'She's at home watching PBB'

Angel Locsin Embraces a Quiet Life at Home

After being away from the public eye for several years, Angel Locsin has chosen to live a simple and private life. Her husband, Neil Arce, recently shared insights into her current lifestyle, highlighting how she finds joy in everyday routines.

During an interview with MJ Marfori, Neil mentioned that Angel is intentionally keeping a low profile these days. “She’s really private now,” he said. “She still goes out sometimes, but she’s very careful not to be seen.” This decision seems to be a conscious effort to enjoy peace and quiet away from the pressures of fame.

One of Angel’s recent habits involves watching the reality show ‘Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab 2.0.’ Neil revealed that his son, Joaquin Arce, is one of the new teen housemates. “Nanonood ng PBB sa bahay,” Neil said with a smile, adding that Angel has been supportive of Joaquin’s growing career in showbiz.

When asked if Angel has traveled abroad recently, Neil responded, “Not recently. It was her brother’s wedding yesterday so we were there.” He also mentioned that when he returns home from work, Angel is usually waiting for him, enjoying her peaceful routine. “Syempre, pag-uwi ko, andun naman siya,” he said.

Angel’s last television project was ‘The General’s Daughter’ in 2019. She also hosted the 2020 docu-series ‘Iba Yan!’ and made a cameo in ‘Four Sisters Before the Wedding.’ Since 2022, she has taken a break from showbiz and social media, making only brief appearances online. One of these was a short return in January after her X (formerly Twitter) account was hacked.

A few months ago, during a TV Patrol interview, Neil shared that Angel has been keeping herself busy with gaming and online classes. “She’s into gaming and she’s taking online classes. She’s enjoying herself,” he said, adding that some of the classes are related to gaming as well.

Neil noted that Angel has been taking time to adjust and heal after the passing of her father. “I think we all know that her dad just passed away, so she’s taking her time. I’m giving her her own space to adjust.”

Despite fan speculation about a possible comeback, Neil emphasized that he never pressures his wife to return to show business. “I know she’s a very strong and independent woman. I married an alpha queen, and I respect that. Whatever she wants to do, as long as it’s right, she has my 100% support.”

He admitted that, like many of her fans, he also misses seeing Angel on screen — but being her husband means prioritizing her happiness. “Of course, I’m also a fan who misses her. But my role as her husband comes first — to support whatever makes her happy.”
