Celebrity Traitors Fans Bet on Victory After Shock Twist

Fans of Celebrity Traitors are already speculating about who will come out on top after a surprising twist prevented the traitors from making their final move. The intense penultimate episode, which aired on Thursday night, was full of unexpected developments. Alan Carr managed to carry out a face-to-face murder, leading to the elimination of Celia Imrie.

The Faithfuls were completely confused about how the murder took place, and the remaining contestants—Alan Carr, Cat Burns, Nick Mohammed, Kate Garraway, David Olusoga, and Joe Marler—were given another challenging mission by Claudia Winkleman. This time, they had to deliver wax figures of their departed co-stars through a maze of lasers under the pressure of a ticking clock. No pressure at all!

As usual, the group eventually returned to the roundtable, where tensions were higher than ever. This was the final roundtable where the eliminated contestant would be able to reveal their true identity. With the stakes at an all-time high, the Faithfuls made a mistake despite their previous victory with Jonathan Ross the day before, resulting in the elimination of Kate and dashing their hopes of catching another traitor.

Things looked promising for the traitors until Claudia delivered a major blow to their strategy. As the final five gathered around the fire pit, she announced that there would be no murder that night. Viewers quickly realized that with Joe convinced that Alan and Cat are the traitors, and Nick being his loyal friend, this development has likely secured a win for the Faithfuls.

Nick and Joe only need to convince David to vote out the pair of traitors. Alan didn't help himself by laughing as he tried to tell the group that he was, without a doubt, a faithful.

Online comments reflected the general sentiment:

  • "There's no way the Traitors win this now. If Joe, Nick, and David have even a hint of doubt, they'll continue the game until Alan and Cat are gone," emlawrence wrote on X.
  • "I think it's pretty much nailed on that the Faithfuls have won," Tina shared.
  • "The Faithfuls have won, the show's over," Joshua echoed.
  • "It's gonna take an absolute miracle for Cat and/or Alan to win this now," callmeginge pointed out.
  • "Noooooo, no murder means game over for Cat and Alan," es lamented.
  • "Alan and Cat were great traitors but they're about to get wiped out," Wiz agreed.
  • "Well they've definitely lost. Faithfuls take the win I guess," bwxxx112 declared.
  • "The Faithfuls will win now they have it, which is totally undeserved," Grase posed.

Although some still believe that Cat and Alan might manage to convince David to join their side. As the historian and presenter, David holds the deciding vote, so it's technically still all to play for.

Meanwhile, there is widespread praise for Joe for solving the case early on, with many calling him a “brilliant faithful.”

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait a week to see how everything unfolds, although it looks like it will be worth the wait.

The Celebrity Traitors finale will air on Thursday, November 6 at 9pm on BBC One.
