The moment came when he arrived with Taylor Swift's song "The Fate of Ophelia" playing from his phone, catching both reporters and fans off guard.
Jones, who has spent a decade playing alongside Travis Kelce, Swift’s fiancé, in Kansas City, surprised everyone by turning up with the track blaring. After pausing it to answer questions ahead of the Chiefs' game against the Buffalo Bills this weekend, he couldn’t resist playing the song again as he left the room.

"I brought this into the studio and I was like: I want to do a throwback, timeless-sounding song and I had this idea about 'I gotta knock on wood' and it would be all these superstitions," she explained. "And it really started out in a very innocent place... I don't know what happened, man. I got in there, we started vibing and I don't know how we got here. But I love the song so much."
While on the show, the singer, who announced her engagement to Kelce in August, expressed her admiration for her future husband, calling him her "favorite person."
Despite her growing relationship with Kelce, Swift has maintained a low profile at the Chiefs’ games this season. She has opted not to make her usual grand entrances at Arrowhead Stadium in 2025.
