Celebrity Traitors' Cat Burns Cuts UK Tour Plans
Cat Burns Postpones Her How To Be Human Tour to April 2026
Cat Burns, a star of the celebrity show Traitors, has decided to push back her upcoming How To Be Human Tour to April 2026. This decision comes after an intense build-up that she didn’t expect.
The 25-year-old singer, known for her hit song People Pleaser, took to social media to explain that this was a tough choice but one she felt was necessary to take care of her mental and physical wellbeing.
Originally, the tour was scheduled to start on November 10 at Glasgow’s O2 Academy. It was set to move through Manchester, Brighton, Wolverhampton, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Bristol, and end at Brixton’s O2 Academy on November 30.
In her announcement, Cat expressed how much the album and tour mean to her.
“This album and tour mean the world to me,” she began. “It’s been a massive journey getting ready to share How To Be Human with you. I can’t believe it’s nearly here!! But unfortunately, the build-up has been a lot more intense than any of us expected, so myself and my team have made the difficult decision to move the How To Be Human Tour to April 2026.”

She added that touring is mentally and physically demanding, and she wants to ensure she’s in the right headspace to deliver the best performance possible.
“When I step on stage, I really want to feel my best and give you a night that feels worth every moment of waiting.”
All existing tickets will remain valid for the new April dates. However, Cat confirmed that the Wolverhampton date couldn’t be rescheduled, so refunds are available for that show. In addition, a brand-new Birmingham show has been added.
Cat also mentioned that her record store shows are still going ahead as planned. She thanked fans for their patience, kindness, and understanding during this time.
“I don’t take your support for granted! I can’t wait to see you soon and make these shows everything they should be.”
New Dates for the How To Be Human Tour
Cat is still performing a number of record store shows in Liverpool, Leeds, Kingston, Brighton, London, Haggerston, and Manchester throughout November.
However, the actual UK tour dates in November have been postponed to the following April 2026 dates:
- April 10 – Birmingham, TBA
- April 11 – Newcastle, NX Newcastle
- April 12 – Glasgow, O2 Academy
- April 14 – Brighton, Brighton Dome
- April 15 – Bristol, O2 Academy
- April 17 – Bournemouth, O2 Academy
- April 18 – Manchester, O2 Apollo
- April 19 – London, O2 Academy Brixton
Tickets for the new dates are available here.

Autistic and ADHD Influences Decision
Cat appeared on The One Show later that evening and explained that her autism and ADHD played a role in the postponement.
“It’s really important to me that my mental is okay because this job is really forward-facing and having to meet lots of people, and it’s very intense. With everything going on, I wanted to make sure I put my all into the tour and give myself enough time to recharge and reset.”

Cat Burns on The Traitors
The Mercury Prize-nominated artist currently appears as a contestant on the celebrity version of The Traitors, a BBC One show where a group of traitors, including Burns, meet up in private to 'murder' the faithfuls, aiming to win a charity prize pot.
Cat famously told a suspicious Faithful Stephen Fry on the BBC show that the reason she sleeps during the day isn’t because she’s been out murdering fellow celebrities at night, but because she’s neurodivergent.
Despite some glances in her direction, Cat has done a brilliant job at slipping under the radar, and has managed to evade capture alongside comedian Alan Carr.
In last night’s episode, Alan and Cat turned on their fellow Traitor Jonathan Ross, as suspicion on him was too great from the other faithfuls.
Tonight, Cat and Alan must 'murder' a Faithful—either Celia Imrie, Joe Marler, Kate Garraway, David Olusoga, or Nick Mohammed—in plain sight by uttering the line, “Parting is such a sweet sorrow,” followed by the name of the doomed faithful.
So we will see how that goes…
