Ahtisa Manalo Celebrates Filipino Culture in Miss Universe Video

Ahtisa Manalo has taken the spotlight by showcasing the beauty of Philippine gems in her tourism video for the 74th Miss Universe. The beauty queen proudly highlighted Filipino culture, performing a dance to the song "Mabuhay," which was specifically created by Empire Philippines for the Miss Universe Philippines pageant.
Manalo featured several iconic Philippine landmarks in her video, including Rizal Park and the San Pedro Bautista Parish Church, both located in her hometown of Candelaria, Quezon. She also showcased the vibrant local festivals, delicious food, and stunning natural attractions that make the Philippines unique.
Her efforts have been supported by fellow beauty queens. Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and her batchmates in Miss Universe Philippines, Yllana Marie Aduana and Winwyn Marquez, expressed their support in Manalo's Instagram comments section.
Marquez wrote, "MABUHAAAYYY!!!! PILIPINAS!"

Aduana wrote, "Goooosebumps che!!!!"
Katrina Llegado, Miss Supranational Philippines 2026, also added, "Eto naaaaa che! MABUHAY."
Manalo was crowned the new MUPh queen last May. She is now competing for the Philippines' fifth Miss Universe crown.
On October 26, Empire Philippines released a documentary about the beauty queen, highlighting her journey to the Miss Universe crown.
"This is a documentary that we’re putting out of the whole process of how we reach to get the headshot, of how we pick our national costume, how we pick the gowns," Manalo explained.
"So dito, meron kayong backstage access kayo kung paano nangyari everything in my preparation," she added.
The 74th Miss Universe pageant will see Victoria Theilvig of Denmark crowning her successor on November 21.
