Kelsey Grammer, the renowned actor best known for his role in Frasier, has once again expanded his family with the arrival of his eighth child. This time, it's a son named Christopher, born to his fourth wife, Kayte Walsh. The 70-year-old star shared the exciting news during an appearance on the Pod Meets World show, marking yet another milestone in his life as a father.

Over the years, Kelsey has built a large family, with children ranging in age from 42 to the newborn Christopher. His journey as a parent has not been without its challenges, but he has made a conscious effort to be more involved with his younger children after admitting he may have neglected some of his older ones in the past.

Speaking to People, Kelsey reflected on his parenting approach: “I have neglected a couple of the kids in my life, especially the first two. I'm trying to make up for a little of it now. I'm still their dad, so you can always have [a] chance to show up.”

The First Child: Spencer Grammer

Spencer Grammer, Kelsey’s first child, was born to his first wife, Doreen Alderman, in 1980. She followed in her father’s footsteps by pursuing a career in acting. Spencer appeared in animated series like Rick and Morty and the college comedy Greek. Her first on-screen role was an uncredited part in Cheers, where her father starred.

In 2022, she reunited with Kelsey in the TV film The 12 Days of Christmas Eve. Spencer has often spoken about her father’s support for her career, saying, “He has been great about me being an actress. He always tells me to follow my heart and to do things for the right reasons.”

Spencer became a grandmother in 2011 when her son, Emmett, was born with her ex-husband James Hekseth.

Greer Grammer: Beauty Queen and Actor

Kelsey’s second daughter, Greer Grammer, was born in 1992 to his second wife, Barrie Buckner. Greer became a beauty queen, winning the title of Miss Teen Malibu in 2008 and placing in the top 10 of the Miss California Teen competition for several years.

She also dabbled in acting, appearing in shows like Awkward and iCarly. In 2023, she participated in the SAG-AFTRA actors' union strike, expressing pride in her membership: “I've been a member for 10+ years and I can honestly say I have never felt more proud to be a member of this union than I did today.”

Greer recently joined the cast of Paramount+'s rebooted Frasier series, playing the daughter of Roz Doyle, portrayed by Jane Leeves.

Mason Grammer: From Struggles to Success

Mason Grammer, Kelsey’s third child, was born in 2001 to his ex-wife Camille Grammer. The couple divorced in 2010, and Mason shared how the split affected her: “It was the hardest time of my life. I changed a lot after that. I had to grow up faster because I had a lot more responsibilities.”

Mason graduated from Emerson College in 2024 and has since launched a successful modeling career, appearing in Harper’s Bazaar and walking the runway at New York Fashion Week. Her mother, Camille, recently celebrated her 24th birthday with a heartfelt message: “Happy Birthday, my beautiful girl. You are the light in my life. Watching you overcome challenges with such poise has been amazing.”

Jude Grammer: A Future Star?

Jude Grammer, Kelsey’s fourth child, was born via surrogate to Camille in 2004. He has expressed interest in following in his father’s footsteps, telling Page Six: “I know he wants to be like his dad, an actor.” Camille added, “He's funny, he's got a great personality — he's got this natural comedic timing, he doesn't have to work at it, he just has it.”

Jude and Mason were supportive of their father’s decision to have more children with Kayte. When asked about the possibility, Jude said, “When are the kids coming?”

Faith and Kelsey Gabriel Grammer: Twins and More

After marrying Kayte Walsh in 2011, Kelsey and his new wife welcomed their first child, Faith, in 2012. They were expecting twins, but one of the babies passed away shortly after birth.
