Alan Carr's Chic London Home with Cocktail Bar

Alan Carr might be busy playing the role of a traitor on the TV show Celebrity Traitors, but when he's not causing chaos with his fellow contestants, he can be found relaxing in his cozy London home. The 49-year-old comedian has become a fan favorite on the BBC series, donning a cloak every night alongside fellow traitors Cat Burns and Jonathan Ross, who was recently sent packing in an unexpected twist.

Now, the remaining faithfuls in the competition include actress Celia Imrie, who made headlines earlier in the season when she accidentally let out a fart on camera; Kate Garraway from Good Morning Britain; Nick Mohammed, known for his role in Ted Lasso; rugby player Joe Marler, who is considered the most strategic among the group; and historian David Olusoga.

Tonight, Alan faces a new challenge: he must murder another faithful in plain sight by reciting the line, "Parting is such a sweet sorrow," followed by the name of the doomed contestant. It's a subtle move, but one that could have serious consequences for his position in the game.

Despite the tension at the castle, Alan has a comfortable place to unwind after filming, especially since he splits his time between Scotland and London. His London home offers a peaceful escape from the drama of the show.

Over the past few weeks, Alan and Cat have shared videos of their antics while dressed in cloaks from Alan's London home. The house features a modest garden, a sleek living room, high ceilings, and a stylish cocktail bar.

Alan moved into this home after announcing his split from his ex-husband Paul Drayton in 2022. However, he revealed in an interview that one unusual item from their relationship remains in the house.

"I've got a cow's head in the kitchen," he said during an interview with House Beautiful. "My ex gave it to me. I should have known divorce was on the cards."

He also has custom wallpaper designed by former Interior Design Masters contestant Amy Davies, which is inspired by the character Miss Marple. This design reflects the influence of his work on the show.

Alan’s home has also been the setting for his podcast, Life’s A Beach, where he has interviewed celebrities such as Fatboy Slim, Perrie Edwards, and Stacey Solomon.

In one photo posted from his kitchen alongside comedian Joanne McNally, Alan’s cocktail bar-style wall is on full display. It features stacks of attractive bottles and recipe books, including POPLO by Russell Norman.

During the House Beautiful interview, Alan spoke about his home, saying, “I painted my bathroom pink, and I mean 70s hot pink. I’m quite proud of it. I think a bathroom is a place for fun. If you’re going to take a risk, do it in the bathroom.”

Alongside his two dogs, Alan is surrounded by a constant stream of friends. He also collects home decorations from his adventures with his on-and-off-screen best friend Amanda Holden, as they travel while filming Amanda and Alan’s Spanish Job.
