Alan Carr's Real Anger at Joe Marler
The Celebrity Traitors Roundtable: A Night of Drama and Tension
The latest episode of Celebrity Traitors on BBC One was a whirlwind of drama, tension, and unexpected moments. Fans had been eagerly waiting for the return of this hit game show, which has become known for its high-stakes twists and unpredictable outcomes.
In the seventh installment, one of the most anticipated events was the banishment of Jonathan Ross, who had managed to evade elimination despite his questionable behavior throughout the series. His departure marked a significant turning point in the game, but it wasn’t the only highlight of the night.
What truly captured attention was the growing tension between two cast members, Alan Carr and Joe Marler. Their interactions during the roundtable were filled with subtle cues and body language that hinted at underlying animosity. According to body language expert Judi James, these moments revealed a level of genuine frustration from Alan.
During one of the discussions, Joe Marler addressed Alan directly, saying, “I haven’t heard a huge amount from you at roundtables… Open up your lugholes.” This comment sparked a reaction from Alan, who questioned whether Nick Mohammed would support his side of the argument.
Joe responded by clarifying his intentions, stating, “I didn’t say I wanted you to say anything. I said I’d quite like to hear from you. If you don’t want to do that, I’m not forcing you.” This exchange set the stage for further conflict later in the episode.
As the game progressed, Alan accused both Jonathan and Joe of being traitors. He specifically targeted Joe, saying, “He’s always there planting the seed. I know he has this quite weird persona with the way he stares at people.” Alan continued, “You’re so OTT [over the top]. You’re almost glaring at Jonathan. I thought, is it so big that actually you make it impossible to vote for Jonathan because it’s just so out there?”

Judi James, who spoke exclusively to Paddy Power Bingo, noted that Alan’s anger appeared genuine during the confrontation. She mentioned that this display of frustration was similar to when Alan had previously argued with Mark.
According to James, while the celebrities appreciate Alan’s humor and charm, his outbursts could be problematic. “The celebrity version of this show is all about love and adoration even when they are destroying each other, but Alan’s ability to fight for real, including some odd insults to Joe last night looked like something they would prefer to deflect personally.”
The next episode of Celebrity Traitors is set to air on BBC One at 9pm tonight, promising more twists and surprises for fans.
