Chris Evans and his wife Alba Baptista have welcomed their first child, marking a significant milestone in their lives. I love the idea of tradition and ceremony. I had a lot of that in my life, so the idea of creating that — I can't think of anything better."
Evans also shared his thoughts on how he has grown in terms of relationships as he has aged. "You spend a lot of time learning what's been helpful and what hasn't been. We all have patterns, hang-ups or baggage that repeat and echo, so I've really been able to kind of identify where I need improvement and what works," he said.
He emphasized the importance of acknowledging mistakes and showing empathy. "I also really see the value and strength behind saying, 'I'm sorry.' If you're able in those vulnerable moments to stay calm and listen, and say you're sorry even if you don't think you've done anything wrong because it's not from your perspective it's from the other person's, I think that opens up a door in a very healthy way," he added.
Looking ahead, Chris Evans is set to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Avengers: Doomsday, according to a previous report by Deadline. The movie is expected to be released in December 2026. While his role remains unclear, sources confirm that Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson will return as Captain America.
Evans recently reprised his role as Johnny Storm, also known as the Human Torch, in the 2024 movie Deadpool & Wolverine. This marks his return to the character he originally portrayed in the 2005 and 2007 Fantastic Four films.
