Jackson Wang's MAGICMAN 2 Tour: A Message of Hope for Dark Times

Jackson Wang’s Visit to Manila and His Connection with Fans

Global superstar Jackson Wang is currently in Manila as part of his MAGICMAN 2 World Tour. Despite arriving late at night, he was full of energy and enthusiasm to be back in the city. On his first day, he started off by working out in the hotel gym where he is staying.

Jackson, known for his curiosity and deep appreciation for human connections, even remembered the name of the hotel staff member who gave him a vegetable juice. For fans of Jackson, it's no surprise that his daily routine includes drinking green juice made with an unusual combination of ingredients.

“I really have to say this. There’s this guy in the gym, the employee. His name is Sean. He offered me this green juice; it’s so good,” he shared.

Although his time in Manila is limited, Jackson is eager to explore more of the local culture and build meaningful connections with his Filipino fans during his concert on November 2 at the Araneta Coliseum. With MAGICMAN 2 being his most honest album yet, the experience of his show goes beyond just visual spectacle—it reaches into the hearts and souls of the audience.

After going through a mental breakdown that led to the creation of this album, which reflects his innermost thoughts, Jackson has chosen not to hide from his vulnerability. This openness is one of the main reasons why his songs on the latest album resonate so deeply with listeners.

When asked about the audience's response to his world tour, Jackson told Metro.Style, “They take away more than just the show. It’s more than just entertainment. People are dancing.”

He further explained his goal in creating the show: “When I put out my album, it’s like listening to a movie, but my show is like watching it in front of your eyes. They take away a lot of the messages. And the main message is, whatever happens in your life, the good and the bad, it’s meant to happen. And what’s been done can’t be undone… You just learn from it and move forward. Accept it and move on.”

That’s exactly what he did, and that’s why he was able to recover from that difficult phase of his life. Jackson opened up about his journey, saying, “I accepted it. It wasn’t any external reason. It was just myself. I just accepted it and realized this is just life, and I wanted to share this with my audience. I hope this can also encourage them in their darkest days.”
