Pippa O’Connor Shares Updates on Her Husband’s Health Journey

Pippa O’Connor has recently opened up about the health challenges her husband, Brian Ormond, has faced in recent weeks. The mother of three shared that the past few weeks have been a difficult time for both Brian and their family, as he continues to recover in the hospital.

Despite the tough moments, there is some relief as Brian is now on the path to recovery, though the process has been slow. Pippa highlighted that Brian has undergone two back surgeries within a short period, which was already a significant challenge. However, his condition took another turn when he developed an infection that has further complicated his recovery.

Pippa explained that Brian is currently receiving treatment through an IV drip and is taking multiple antibiotics to fight off the infection. She noted that while the right antibiotics have started to reduce the infection, the process remains slow and tedious.

The situation has caused a lot of worry and stress for the family. Pippa admitted that the last few weeks have felt like a blur, and she expressed gratitude for the support from well-wishers who have reached out with kind messages.

“Brian is still in the hospital… It's been a whole thing. Thank you for all the kind messages, by the way, asking how Brian is. He's okay, it's just a slow process,” Pippa said. “I haven't really experienced this before. He got a really bad infection, so yeah, [he's] on the antibiotic, IV drip, multiple times a day. At first, it was trying to find the right ones that would bring the infection down, and once they did, it started to come down slowly, but it's a slow process.”

In addition to the infection, Brian has also had two back operations in quick succession, which Pippa described as a tough experience for him. She expressed her sympathy for his situation, noting that he has had a series of unfortunate events over the past few months that didn’t go as planned.

“He's had such bad luck and [been] really unfortunate the last few months that things just didn't go as smoothly as we would have anticipated at the start, I suppose. But anyway, that's life, and he will be okay. He's young, fit, and healthy,” she added.

Pippa shared that she can't wait for Brian to return home, but she joked that he won’t have to deal with putting up Halloween decorations this year. Her update on his health comes after she mentioned feeling "jealous" of Brian during the summer as they both grow older.
